Building A of the iconic Váci Greens office complex, the first of the three buildings so far built by the Belgian developer in the complex, was completed in September 2013 and contains 15,700 sqm of office space. Building A is currently 88% leased. Tenants include General Electric, Sykes, Enterprise, BNP Paribas Real Estate and Budapest Bank.
The Váci Greens project, which was launched in 2008 by Atenor, includes six Class A office buildings with a total surface area of over 120,000 m2. The properties have all obtained BREEAM Excellent environmental certification.
The sale of building A will have a positive impact on Atenor’s results for 2017. Building C of the complex was sold in December to Czech investment fund ZPF Investment. The property was the first of the three Vaci Greens buildings constructed by Atenor in the Vaci Corridor business district in the Hungarian capital. Completed in September 2013, In December 2016, Atenor also disposed of Building C to Czech investment fund ZPF Investment. Beside selling the buildings the development of the office complex has not stopped for a moment. The construction of building D, the fourth part has already started, offering 15,600 sqm office spaces. The project is foreseen to be handed over at the end of this year. Building D is currently 30% leased.
Nikolett Püschl, Leasing Manager of Atenor explained that the sale of the second building of the Váci Greens office complex indicates the strengthtening of the property investment office market in Budapest. ”More investors showed an increased interest in purchasing the ongoing projects of the Váci Greens. There is also a significant activity on the part of possible tenats. There is no denying the fact that the Váci corridor is the most successful business location”, summarized Nikolett Püschl.
