Etele Plaza in Budapest, Hungary in Progress

At the meeting point of the Kelenföld railway station, metro line 4 and the M1-M7 motorway, the new shopping center will be the largest mall in Buda and fourth shopping mall in Budapest. The approximately 54,000 square meters of the rentable area of the Etele Plaza, developed by the Futureal Group, is expected to attract around 40,000 buyers per day.

Due to the good location of the mall, developers are optimistic about the investment. 165 thousand passengers use daily the Kelenföld railway station and the bus station here, and in this part of Budapest there are about 235 thousand inhabitants, so the Etele Pláza is indeed in a good location.

In the building, it is planned to have a positioning and navigation system that will ease parking in the garage for about 1300 cars. Within the mall, a mobile application helps customers find the businesses, restaurants, services or entertainments possibilities they are looking for.

The 30 meters high and 30 meters wide curtain wall structure on the main entrance facade of the shopping center, as well as the overhanging and retracted box structures on the façade, are unstructured without any structural support. Inside, a nearly 200 square meters interactive LED display media will be waiting for customers. There will be an indoor event area as well as a terrace directly connected to the restaurant level.

The biggest iconic office development project of the Futureal Group, the Budapest ONE office building, is also built near Etele Plaza. The first installment of the new office building will include 25,000 square meters of retail space and 2600 square meters of commercial and service units and green space.
