The office corridor in Váci út is being expanded by another project. The development belongs to the Czech-based UID group, which will continue their expansion in the European office market. In two years' time, the 80,000 square meter office projects development will begin, according to CIJ Europe.

The Czech development company has purchased a 2 hectare site near the Pest bridgehead of the Árpád Bridge to carry out the project. The project will be known as Süllő and will cover approximately 80,000 square feet of office space. Two years from now they could start the construction and it would take 2 years to build, however the developer doesn't yet have a building permit. The value of the project is 49 billion HUF.

"By joining Hungary, our group will be present in a fourth country," said Radek Mensik, founder of the UDI Group.

The Czech company focuses on residential construction in its home country, but is also active on the Serbian and Polish markets. More than 100 housing projects have been handed over by them as well as the Luka Shopping Center in Prague.

Next to the Árpád Bridge, Agora is already developing a complex, the three office complex of Nordic Light and an office project called New Age. To these are added a new project, built at the intersection of Süllő and Visegrádi streets, which was an uncovered parking lot, that has been closed due to the change of ownership, but may reopen its doors in August. So far, the area has been owned by Spanish company Masaveu Internacional, who have also developed the Iberostar Hotel.
