Mar 24th, 2016

The third building of the Váci Greens complex was handed over recently, offering 24 500 m2 of office space on six floors. 60% of the space offered by the building is already rented via pre-contract by GE Infrastructure Hungary Holding Kft. therefore the building will provide offices for nearly 4000 employees from March.

Buildings that were given the BREEAM Excellent because of their cheap operability and low energy consumption - the Váci Greens C and B buildings won't have to use external energy sources for heating or cooling for 7-8 months.

"In our experience leading international companies are looking for modern, energy efficient and environment-friendly office buildings. We have indentified this trend back in the first days of development and at the time of the financial crisis", said Zoltán Borbély, national director of Atenor. According to Borbély they were focusing on using state-of-the art equipment, spacious central spaces and green areas throughout development.

The first tenant of Váci Greens was Skyes which in the past year expanded their rented office space by 15%, while this spring a new tenant, IT Services Hungary will move in the buildings. All together more than 2400 employees of the GE Group are working inside the office park of Váci Street and further thousands are expected to arrive as the development of the project continues.

Váci Greens is one of the largest currently running development projects in Budapest, the 6 buildings add up to a total of 135 000 square meters of rentable office space. Atenor at the moment has 15 running projects around Europe of which Váci Greens is the largest.
