These Budapest Office Buildings Are There at the World's Most Well-Known Real Estate Exhibition

Between March 12-15, MIPIM (Le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier) will be held for the thirtieth time, which is the world's number one real estate development exhibition, where the value of the projects that have been taken is close to EUR 4 billion. The most influential people in the real estate sector will also appear at the event at the Palais des Festivals, which will also host the Cannes Film Festival. The four-day event will be attended by 3.100 exhibitors from 100 countries with 24.200 professional visitors (5.300 investors, 3.800 senior executives). This year, there are 50 cities with their own stand.

The Hungarian stand, which was jointly developed by the Municipality of Budapest, the National Investment Agency (HIPA) and the Real Estate Development Roundtable Association (IFK), are also presenting the investments of several Hungarian cities. The goal is to promote the capital city and the rural towns and promote development directions and opportunities. High emphasis is placed on increasing digital solutions, innovation, high value-added products and R & D & I.

"We are going to the professional audience with an unprecedentedly rich portfolio" - emphasized Ernő Takács, president of the IFK, to the Világgazdaság (World Economy), recalling that with the 1,7 billion EUR investment last year, the Hungarian real estate market closed its most productive three years.

The following Hungarian office developments will appear at the exhibition:

  • Budapest, Debrecen, Miskolc, Pécs, Szeged and Zalaegerszeg’s highlights are introduced. Atenor, Futureal Group, Granite Pole Group, GTC Hungary, HB Reavis, Horizon Development, WING real estate developers will present their projects to be handed over in 2020.
  • Altenor presents the Váci Greens project, the 130.000 square meter office park ready to be handed over in the second or third quarter of 2020.
  • The first building of the 72.000 square meter complex of Arena Business Campus will be delivered in the first quarter of 2020.
  • The Advance Tower office is being developed by the Futureal Group and the second stage is already structurally completed.
  • Corvin Technology Park is also at the final stage of construction on the Corvin Promenade.
  • The Corvin7 office building is under preparation.
  • The 65.000 square meter Budapest ONE office parks first stage is also ont he track in Őrmező.
  • In Kelenföld, the construction of the 55 thousand square meter Etele Plaza is in progress, which will be the business and commercial driving force of South Buda's renewal.
  • One of the major centers of the capital, AGORA Budapest, is built by HB Reavis, the first building of which is the Agora Tower.
  • Szervita Square Building will be handed over in the heart of downtown in 2020. The building is executed by the DVM Group, the deep foundation is carried out by HBM Kft.

Apart from Budapest, of course, small settlements are also attracted to attention, such as the Tópark 'Be My City' multifunctional building complex, built between the M0-M1-M7 motorways, near the city center of Budapest, or the “A” category Forest Offices Debrecen in the new business center of Debrecen.
